As of July 1st, 2020, we are officially open! Here at Orca Spirit Adventures, we are passionate about sharing unique, once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experiences with our guests. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service, with safety being our number one priority. We can assure you that we have gone above and beyond the additional measures and operational procedures put in place by WorkSafe BC, Health Canada, and Transport Canada, to ensure the safety of our guests, crew, and community.
We are excited to announce some new safety procedures put in place in our giftshops and onboard our vessels!
We have reduced capacities on our Covered Vessel Tours, allowing our guests to safely move about the vessel while adhering to social distancing protocols. We have set up multiple sanitization stations onboard and in the giftshops, reduced giftshop capacities, taken away boarding passes and added a mandatory mask policy – masks must be worn inside at all times. Onboard we have added a crew member to help facilitate keeping our groups separate and to maintain proper sanitization of the vessels throughout the tour. Additionally, we have a mandatory COVID-19 Liability Waiver that must be read and signed before joining our tour. Food and drinks are welcomed onboard, however, you will need to be seated while eating them inside the cabin. Snacks and drinks available for $3 purchase.
A signed COVID-19 liability waiver is required prior to departing on our zodiac vessel tours. Zodiac suits are properly sanitized and quarantined after each use. Additionally, captains sanitize the entire vessel before departure and after arriving back to the dock. *Please note we are no longer supplying hats and gloves and are recommending guests bring their own. *Please note we are no longer supplying hats and gloves and are recommending guests bring their own.
All Orca Spirit Adventures’ staff and crew have signed a mandatory COVID-19 policy document before their first tour, have completed the necessary COVID training set by management, and perform daily health self-assessments before arriving for work.
We are so excited to return to the water and showcase our big, beautiful blue backyard to you! Most importantly, don’t forget to wash your hands (and wear a mask!).
