Sales Agent

Orca Spirit Adventures, a Victoria based whale watching company is seeking motivated and customer-focused Office Staff. Applicant should have tourism experience, with knowledge of local wildlife and the Victoria area. Candidate should be a motivated team player, creative and enthusiastic about expanding the business.

Position Details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Check in and departure of whale watching tours
  • Answer phones/ Make online bookings
  • Promotion and sales of tours (must be knowledgeable about tour departure times, vessel types, and pricing)
  • Accurately and efficiently manage cash and credit card transactions

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven ability to excel in a sales environment
  • Solid customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Previous Tourism experience preferred
  • Professional demeanour
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Must be excellent at multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Must be available weekends and holidays

Salary/Wage:

  • Competitive within industry. Dependent on experience.
