OUR STORY
Over 20 years ago, John Douglas started the first covered vessel whale watching company in Victoria and has since set the industry standard for eco-tourism in the region. Focused on environmental stewardship, aboriginal engagement and wildlife education, Orca Spirit has never lost sight of their responsibility to the natural habitat as their crew, fleet and services expanded.

Cannot Recommend Enough
We went out whale watching this morning on the zodiac with Christian, who was fabulous. I never once felt he was chasing the whales, he just seemed to know how to get into position and wait for them to come to us…the orcas were literally right beside us. They are the most amazing, beautiful creatures and seeing them to an extent is luck but going out with Christian I felt we made the most of the opportunities that were given to us. Loved it!
GREAT WHALE WATCHING!
We went whale watching with Orca Spirit Adventures and Tristan was our guide. I was so impressed of his knowledge and high level of respect for the whales. He seemed to not get in their way, yet, knew where to position the zodiac with engine off and wait. We got to watch them feed, play and relax and of course swim. I didn’t want it to end… Thanks again Tristan!
